2021-22 Primary Mastery Specialist Programme

Following the successful first six cohorts of the Mastery Specialist Programme, the NCETM and Maths Hubs are now seeking to recruit a seventh cohort of expert primary school teachers to develop and work as Primary Mastery Specialists.

2021-22 Secondary Mastery Specialist Programme

Following the success of the Secondary Mastery Specialist Programme thus far, Maths Hubs, working in conjunction with the NCETM, are now seeking applications from secondary schools that wish to nominate ‘lead teachers’ to take part in an important three-year professional development programme leading to the designation of Secondary Mastery Specialist.

2021-22 Professional Development Lead Accreditation Programme

NCETM Professional Development Lead Accreditation is designed for those who lead professional development for teachers of maths.

2021-22 Sustaining Teaching for Mastery Programme

Has your school previously been part of a teacher research group or had a trained mastery specialist?  If yes, then your school is eligible to join our sustaining Teaching for Mastery programme.

Those school that signed up to our Spring term programme will automatically receive a Zoom invite to the Summer term sessions.  For those schools that were not signed up to the Spring term programme, please contact Amanda.ponsford@solentmathshub.org.uk who will be able to check you eligibility as a previous Teaching for Mastery school and will be able to provide full sign up details.

2021-22 NCETM Mastery Specialist Teacher

The NCETM are now taking expressions of interest from Primary and Secondary teachers who may be interested in becoming a Mastery Specialist teacher in 2021/22.

New Lead School Wanted

After seven successful years leading the Solent Maths Hub, Mary Rose Academy in Portsmouth is stepping down from the role at the end of the academic year. So, the DfE and the NCETM are now seeking a school or college to take on this important system leadership role.

There is an online briefing for all potential applicants on Tuesday 23 February and the closing date for applications is Tuesday 9 March. More information and details about the application process can be found on the NCETM website.
