Louise has worked for the Solent Maths Hub as a Primary Mastery Specialist since 2019 and is thrilled to now be part of the Hub Team as the Primary Assistant Lead.

"My involvement with the Solent Hub has given me a deep mathematical subject knowledge, developed my understanding of being a leader and provided opportunity to meet and work with inspiring teachers and leaders across the Solent. Since taking part in a Teaching for Mastery workgroup I have been passionate about the work-group model of professional development and the huge difference this can make on pedagogy, classroom practice and ultimately the outcomes for children. The fundamental belief that all children can achieve in maths is central to the mastery approach and the driving force behind all that we do."
